Held on,
not held back.
'Pichhutaaney’ comes from the Bengali word 'Pichhutaan’ - that tender ache for something once deeply loved. It's the longing held in familiar flavors, faraway homes, and stories carried gently through time.
Note from the founder
Pichhutaaney, to me, isn’t just a supper club. It’s a space to hold a feeling.
It’s rooted in memory and barir khabar, but not in a way that simply recreates the past. It’s about reinterpreting it, about what home tastes and feels like when you’re a little removed from it.
Each menu becomes a form of storytelling, where every dish carries context, intention, and emotion. The table isn’t just about dining, it’s about gathering. It’s about who you share it with and the conversations that unfold around it.
At the centre of it all is creativity, not just in the food, but in how stories are told, shared, and experienced.
